Similar to other roar buffs, damage of your altered R2 can be buffed with Roar medallion and Highland axe on your off hand ( you only need to have it equiped, you dont have to hold it) 3. Buffed R2 is such good burst and it comes out really fast, just make sure you only tap R2 once and you dont hold it or do the follow up attack as its slow and has long recovery time 2.
